      We rescue smaII dogs who are around 10 pounds and before they are ready for adoption we spay/neuter, dentaI (if needed), give DHPP, BordeteIIa & Rabies shots, DrontaI PIus de-worming, FrontIine PIus fIea/tick preventative, and microchip.     Zoella is a 2 1/2 year old Beautiful White with Red accents Yorkie/Terrier Mix who weighs 4 pounds. This little girl is in our rescue because she ended up back in the shelter after being adopted because she needed her teeth cleaned and her new owners couldn't afford it so rescue was called. After arriving into our rescue Zoella had her teeth cleaned and now she is a sweet little girl with sparkly teeth. Zoella is a very sweet darling little girl who needs a loving forever home. She will do well with visiting children under supervision. Zoella uses potty pads at her foster home and is doing very well, however, we never say that one of our rescue dogs is potty trained so of course training will be needed in her new loving forever homes. All of PJ's Small Dog Rescue puppies and dogs are indoor dogs with outside potty and play privileges.     Zia is a 1 year old Beautiful Apricot and Cream Havanese Mix who weighs 9 pounds. This little girl is in our rescue because she ended up in the shelter so rescue was called. Unfortunately, when she arrived on transport she was terribly neglected and dehydrated and not eating. An immediate trip to our vet did the trick and in a few days she improved, started to eat well and started to be a playful puppy. Since it is apparent that Zia has been mistreated and is uncomfortable around children she will not be placed in a home with children.     Tessa is a 4 month old Beautiful White and White Jack Russell Terrier Mix puppy who weighs 4 pounds. This tiny little girl is in our rescue because she was a stray and ended up in the shelter at 6 weeks old so rescue was called. This darling little puppy is very sweet, is happy and such a playful puppy. Tessa is with a litter of tiny puppies her size and plays well with them. Tessa uses newspapers in her puppy pen but is by no means potty trained so training will be needed in her new loving forever home.     Benji is a 3 year old Beautiful White and Tan Shih Tzu/Maltese Mix who weighs 10 pounds. Benji is in our rescue because he ended up in the shelter because his owner could no longer care for him so rescue was called. This darling little boy is very sweet, greats along with other dogs and is very shy but on a one to one basis we are sure he will blossom. Benji was very skinny and shy when he entered our rescue but has opened up and is now eating good. He is a very sweet little boy who has trust issues because he was terrible neglected and now thinks he is in trouble if he hears loud voices. Benji gets along with other dog so another dog in ... Benji needs a quiet home so only visiting children under supervision for this little guy. He doesn't need a busy home but a quiet calm environment would be great for him.
